BIOGRAPHY

Hope is a 27-year-old Dressage rider based in Massachusetts and Wellington Florida in the United States. She has been an equestrian ever since she began walking and dressage remains the main focus and love of her life. She has ridden successfully from Children’s through ponies, Jr/Yr. and on to the U25 and Grand Prix.  Hope is also focused on academia. She triple majored in Behavioral neuroscience, Africana studies and Modern Dance in undergrad and plans to attend graduate school for Organizational psychology in the fall.

Hope runs her business with her Mom at Bear Spot Farm and Foundation where they develop both horses and riders. Hope has focused her teaching career on young riders and has many successful students competing in the JR/YR national and international levels. She has developed under the formal training of her mother, Jane Karol, and now also works extensively with mentor Christoph Koschel.

Some highlights:

-2023 top six rankings for developing GP horses Tripple and Destar who hope has had and brought up the levels since they were youngsters.

-2023 many placings and personal bests in the Grand Prix CDI season in Wellington FL with stallion Flynn PCH.

-2022 AGDF CDI 3* first Senior tour season and first senior tour win on Hot Chocolate W.

-2021 Living in Germany training with Isabell Werth and Christoph Koschel.

-2021 CHIO Nations cup Individual Gold and Team Silver with Hot Chocolate W. Wellington FL.

-2021 would have been the anchor for USA European tour team before it was canceled.

-2021 First and Second on ranking list for USA U25

-2021 Kundrun Development Program with Hot Chocolate W.

-2020 Nations Cup team U25 with Hot Chocolate W.

-2019 Bronze medal, National Championships U25 with Hot Chocolate

-2019 Silver medal in the freestyle, National Championships U25 with Hot Chocolate.

-2014 Region 8 NAYC YR team and Individual Bronze with Don Diamond

-2012 Region 8 NAYC Junior team with Don Diamond.
