BIOGRAPHY

Celina has been an equestrian ever since she was eight years old. The growing desire to make dressage the main focus of her life drew her away from her year abroad in London, where she was studying Finance. Returning to her hometown Munich in Germany in 2018, she met Stefan Münch, the former trainer of Jessica and Benjamin Werndl and began training with him. With his encouragement she made the shift to Aubenhausen. Since the beginning of 2021, she has been training with the Olympic Champion Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and her brother Benjamin Werndl. She also benefits from regular visits from Morten Thompsen, a Danish Olympian, and Andreas Hausberger, former chief rider at the Spanish Riding School in Vienna. 

Within just four years Celina moved up the ranks from never having competed before to the Grand Prix level. In her first year on the international stage, she has celebrated multiple international wins and qualified for the European Championships in 2022 and also in 2023.

She is part of the current Norwegian Dressage Team and has a string of upcoming dressage horses, all competing successfully at their respective levels. She has debuted her most promising mare Badinda Altena at the U25 level in 2023 and hopes she will be her upcoming Grand Prix prospect for the future.

Celina has completed her Bachelor’s degree at the world renowned LMU Munich and is now studying a MSc in Business Psychology. In addition, she is working for Jessica von Bredow Werndl and Benjamin Werndl as an employed rider in Aubenhausen.
