BIOGRAPHY

Divyakriti Singh, is a 24-year-old Indian Equestrian Athlete, based at the renowned Hof Kasselmann yard in Germany. She hails from a family with a deep-rooted tradition and passion for horse’s, originating from the equestrian-rich state of Rajasthan, where her family owns and run the country's leading polo teams. Her ancestral home, the 500-year-old Mundota Palace, now transformed into a luxury heritage resort by her family, serves as a testament to their enduring legacy in equestrian pursuits.

With a passion for dressage ignited at the age of 13, Divyakriti competed successfully in India while pursuing her education. Her summers were dedicated to training at renowned dressage yards in The Netherlands and Wellington, USA, during her school and university years. In 2020, after completing her bachelors in Psychology, she made the pivotal move to Europe, where she has trained with renowned riders in Denmark and Germany.

Divyakriti etched her name in history at the 19th Asian Games in September 2023, playing an instrumental role in winning India's first-ever dressage gold medal, and first equestrian gold after a 41-year hiatus. Riding the 14-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding, Adrenalin Firfod, she achieved this remarkable feat, earning widespread acclaim for her exceptional performance. Subsequently, she was honoured with the prestigious Arjuna Award, India's second-highest sporting accolade, in January 2024 by the President of India, making her the first Indian woman ever to be awarded the Arjuna Award for Equestrian.

Over the past two years, ‘Divya’ has competed extensively in CDIs across Germany, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, and Austria, culminating in an impressive World ranking of 14 and an Asian ranking of 1 in early 2023, as per the International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI) dressage world ranking of athletes - CDI*CDIO1*. Her unwavering dedication to the sport and her fervent enthusiasm to embrace the challenges and opportunities ahead underscore her commitment to a long and illustrious career in equestrian sports, where her enduring love and passion for horses remain at the forefront.
