BIOGRAPHY

Dawn White O Connor is originally from a small town in Colorado and worked for Steffen and Shannon Peters for over a decade. She began as a working student and groom, but earned her way up to great success in the competition arena.


In 2014, she was placed 8th at the Festival of Champions in the Small Tour with Carla Hayes’ KWPN gelding Aristo and at the age of 27, Dawn was given the opportunity to compete on Steffen's 2016 Olympic mount Legolas, owned by Four Winds Farms Akiko Yamazaki.

In 2017, she competed Legolas in CDIs in both California and Wellington, Florida with great success. They were then selected to represent the The Dutta Corp. U.S. Dressage Team in Grand Prix in Europe that summer. Itwas with Legolas that Dawn was first invited onto the USEF Developing Rider list in 2017.

In 2018, Dawn competed on Four Winds Farms Oldenburg gelding. The pair won the 2018 USDF National Developing Grand Prix Championship at Lamplight Equestrian Center in Wayne, Illinois.

In 2020 Hudson M was purchased by Four Winds Farm for Dawn to compete.  In 2020 Dawn and Hudson won the the USEF Intermediare 1 Championship at Lamplight in Chicago.  Dawn and Hudson are currently part of the USEF Development program and looking forward to competing at Grand Prix.

In 2022 Dawn qualified Nobility for the USEF 4 year old National championships at Lamplight, they finished 4th overall.

In 2023 Magnifico and Dawn qualified for the 6 year old National Championships at Lamplight which they contested to be placed 6th overall.

Dawn has a string of young horses through FEI which she trains and competes. 

She is currently based in Wellington, Florida.
